Welcome to Registration for the 39th IFPRI Annual General Meeting. This year the meeting will be hosted by Antonios Zavaliagos from Drexel Univeristy and will be held at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (315 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 1-215-629-5356) (https://www.chemheritage.org/about-us). We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Penn's Landing (100 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19106). You can register at the hotel by clicking on the Hotel Registration Butoon on this page and following the instructions at the hotel website or alternatively you can call the hotel directly at 1-800-843-2355 or 1-215-627-7900 and ask for the IFPRI Group Block.
On Sunday evening we will begoing on a dinner cruise on Spirit Cruises (https://www.spiritcruises.com/philadelphia). The cruise location is within walkiing distance to the hotel and should be a great opportunity to relax after the first day and get prepared for the second day of the meeting.
We will be having our Banquet at the Barnes Foundation on Wednesday http://www.barnesfoundation.org/. The Barnes Foundation is an art collection collected by Albert Barnes in the early 20th Century focusing on impressionist, post-impressionist, and early modern paintings. We will be able to tour the collection prior to dinner that will be held in the Anneberg Court, just off of the Main Collection. This promises to be an interesting and unique banquet experience.
