Characterization and Mechanisms of Cohesion at Single Particle Level and Their Influence on Bulk Properties Workshop

This will be the 10th IFPRI Workshop and will focus on the characteriation and mechanisms of cohesion at the microscopic or single particle level.  As in past IFPRI workshops the structure of the workshop will be a series of 4 topics where each topic will start with industrial and academic presentations, followed by breakout sessions for discussion, and then presentations of the ideas and conclusions discussed in the breaakout meetings.  THe topics for this meeting will be: 1) Physics of Cohesion; 2) Microscale Characterization; 3) Cohesion in Modles and Simulations; and 4) What Should IFPRI be Funding.  A successful outcome of this meeting will be a written report overviewing the presentations and results from the breakout sessions and a strategic plan for IFPRI funded research projects in the future.
