IFPRI has funded a research program in particle technology since 1979. Each year the IFPRI Members discuss and then determine a Research Program that can comprise of 6 parts (For an overview of each of these areas please see the Home Page articles listed in each Image).
1) A full program in:
- Particle Size Reduction
- Dry Powder Flow
- Particle Characterization
- Wet Systems
- Particle Formation
- Systems Engineering
2) Collaboration Grants where IFPRI Members determined that funding two research groups under the same focus would be beneficial (a recent example of this was the collabortion of Professer Mike Solomon at the University of Michigan and Professor Eric Furst at the University of Delaware on Gel Microstructure).
3) State of the Art Reviews on specific areas of particle technology that the IFPRI Members are interested in learning more or to add a new research program. Each year there may be 0-10 reviews.
Below are listed the Research Programs with links to a graphical presentation of the Research Program including type of program (full, review, or collaboration) Program Title, Principle Invesigator, and Principle Invesitgator.
